This silk fabric has a soft, lustrous and supple hand.  Perfect for beginners as it is economical has a smooth surface and lends itself to most painting and dying techniques. Good for scarves, very light flags and more.

Description

  • “mm” means momme, the unit of measure used to designate the weight of silk. Bigger number, heavier weight silk. Under 8mm is pretty sheer.
  • We are only able to sell fabric by the full meter lengths (no fractions of a meter).
  • You can dye this with Silk Dyes.
  • We found that this shrinks 8% in Length and 1% in Width.
  • Do not wash.
